Lau Fan Blade 22" Clockwise 33-Degree 4-Wing

The Lau 60559501 is a 22 inch clockwise rotation, 33 degree pitch, four-wing propeller fan blade for condenser fan applications in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

This is a high-airflow configuration: large diameter, steep pitch, and four wings together produce the greatest air movement available in this blade family, and correspondingly the greatest motor load.

Blades of this specification are matched to motors selected for the torque they demand, and the pairing is not adjustable. Where a universal replacement motor is fitted behind a blade of this type, the horsepower tap must be set to at least the original rating, and the resulting current verified.

The greater rotating mass also makes the assembly less tolerant of imbalance and of a hub that is not fully secure. A blade of this size running with a loose hub will damage the motor bearings quickly and presents a genuine hazard if it leaves the shaft.

Confirm diameter, rotation, pitch angle, wing count, hub bore, and hub depth before ordering, verify the hub is fully seated with the set screw on the shaft flat, and measure running current against the motor's rating after installation.
