DiversiTech Fan Blade Aluminum 12" A65123

The DiversiTech A65123 is a 12 inch aluminium fan blade for condenser and ventilation fan applications in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Aluminium is the usual material for propeller fan blades in this size class. It is light, which keeps rotating mass and starting load low, it does not rust, and it can be formed and pitched accurately in production. The trade-off is that aluminium is soft: a blade is easily bent by impact or by careless handling, and a bent blade is both unbalanced and aerodynamically compromised.

That softness has a practical consequence for handling and storage. Blades should be stored flat or hung rather than stacked under weight, and a blade that has been dropped should be inspected carefully before fitting rather than assumed serviceable.

In coastal installations, aluminium blades are also subject to corrosion where they contact steel hardware, and the resulting deposits unbalance the blade over time.

Confirm blade diameter, number of wings, pitch angle, rotation, hub bore, and hub depth before ordering, and check tip clearance to the orifice and guard after installation.
