Lau Fan Blade 22" Clockwise 33-Degree 3-Wing

The Lau 60557501 is a 22 inch clockwise rotation, 33 degree pitch, three-wing propeller fan blade for condenser fan applications in HVAC equipment.

The combination of 22 inch diameter and 33 degree pitch places this blade among the higher-airflow options in the three-wing range, and it correspondingly demands more torque from the motor than a shallower blade of the same diameter.

Motor and blade are selected together by the equipment manufacturer, and the pairing is what determines whether the fan delivers the required airflow within the motor's rating. Changing either element in isolation breaks that relationship.

This becomes relevant when a universal replacement motor is fitted. A universal motor covering several horsepower ratings must be set to the tap matching the original, because a lower tap will be overloaded by a steep-pitch blade of this size. Measuring running current against the selected rating after installation is what confirms the pairing is correct.

Confirm diameter, rotation, pitch angle, wing count, hub bore, and hub depth before ordering, and verify running current before returning the equipment to service.
