The Lau 60558201 is an 18 inch counterclockwise rotation, 27 degree pitch, four-wing propeller fan blade for condenser and ventilation fan applications.

Wing count is the fourth defining specification of a propeller blade, alongside diameter, rotation, and pitch. A four-wing blade presents more blade area to the airstream than a three-wing blade of the same diameter and pitch, so it moves more air at the same speed and demands more torque from the motor.

Wing count also influences sound. More blades passing a fixed point per revolution raises the blade passing frequency, which changes the character of the noise the fan produces, and manufacturers choose blade count partly for acoustic reasons.

Because both airflow and motor load change with wing count, a three-wing and a four-wing blade of otherwise identical specification are not interchangeable. Substituting one for the other alters condenser airflow and motor current together.
