Uniweld Access Valve EZ Turn 90-Degree 1/4IN

The Uniweld EZAB90 is a 90 degree 1/4 inch EZ Turn access valve providing a permanent service connection on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

The 90 degree body exists because access ports are rarely installed in open space. Equipment cabinets are congested, line sets run close to panels and structural members, and a straight valve with a hose attached frequently will not fit, or fits only by bending the hose sharply enough to restrict flow and shorten its life.

An angled body redirects the connection to a more workable orientation, and in confined installations it is often the difference between a port that can be used and one that cannot.

Whichever body style is chosen, the valve becomes a permanent part of a pressurised refrigerant circuit and must be treated accordingly. It requires the correct pressure rating for the refrigerant in use, a properly made and leak tested connection, and a cap fitted with its gasket to serve as the primary seal.

Where the valve is brazed in, the internal seals must be protected from heat, and the tube should be nitrogen purged during brazing to prevent internal oxide scale forming and circulating through the system.

Confirm connection size and type, pressure rating, and physical clearance before ordering. Leak test the installation thoroughly before charging.
