Rust-Oleum RSOV2148838 Spray Paint V2100 High Performance 15 oz Yellow Gloss

The Rust-Oleum RSOV2148838 is V2100 high performance spray paint, enamel, 15 oz aerosol, yellow, gloss, 20 minute dry time, 6 per case.

This is the third yellow in this range — plain Yellow, alongside Safety Yellow and Industrial Yellow under separate part numbers. All three should be distinguished on the storefront, because a customer looking at three yellows with no explanation will pick on price and get the wrong one.

Plain yellow is the general-purpose colour: it carries no code assignment and no equipment-matching intent. It is yellow paint, for whatever needs to be yellow.

That is a legitimate product and it is the wrong one for a hazard. Safety yellow is a specified colour under the safety conventions industrial facilities work to, designating caution and physical hazards, and its value lies in being the same yellow throughout a building and across years. Substituting a general yellow because it was in stock breaks the scheme quietly — the mark is there, it looks right, and it no longer means what the other yellows mean.

Aerosol format is worth noting for what it is: convenience at a cost. A 15 oz can holds a modest amount of actual paint, most of the can being solvent and propellant. For touch-up and small work it is unbeatable; for area, buy bulk.

Enamel cures by oxidation over days.
