Rust-Oleum RSO2364838 Striping Paint 2300 Inverted High Performance 18 oz

The Rust-Oleum RSO2364838 is 2300 inverted high performance striping paint, solvent base, 18 oz aerosol, red, gloss, under 10 minute dry time, 6 per case.

Inverted is the specification and it is the entire point of the product — it means the can sprays while held upside down.

That sounds like a detail. It is the difference between marking a car park on your knees and marking it walking upright. An inverted can drops into a striping wand — a wheeled applicator with a trigger — and the operator walks the line at normal pace. A conventional aerosol cannot do it: the dip tube sits at the bottom of the can and it sucks propellant instead of paint the moment the can is tipped.

Inverted cans move the pickup so the paint feeds when inverted. That is a valve and dip tube design, and it is why these cannot be substituted.

The under-10-minute dry time follows the application. A line marked across a working car park or a roadway has to be walked on and driven over quickly, and a paint that takes an hour is a paint that gets tracked across the site.

Red conventionally marks fire equipment, hazards, and no-park zones.

Solvent base gives adhesion and durability on concrete and asphalt outdoors, at the cost of VOCs.

Applications include car parks, roadways, and site marking.
