Purdy KRY15T901000 Paint Tray Nest 9 in 1-Gallon Polypropylene

The Purdy KRY15T901000 is a NEST paint tray, 1 gallon capacity, in polypropylene, 9 inch, case quantity 4.

The NEST designation is the specification and it addresses a problem every painting contractor has: trays are bulky, and a stack of them is mostly air. Nesting trays stack into each other rather than sitting on top, which means a van carries several in the space one would otherwise take. For anyone running multiple crews or multiple jobs from one vehicle, that is real.

Polypropylene is the material and it is the right choice for a reason worth knowing: polypropylene has very low surface energy, so paint does not key to it well. Dried latex peels off a polypropylene tray in a sheet rather than requiring scraping. That is why a poly tray outlasts a metal one several times over — not because it is stronger, but because cleaning it does not destroy it.

The 1 gallon capacity matches the standard paint container, which means a tray can take a full can without decanting.

At 9 inches it takes the standard wall roller.

The case quantity of 4 is contractor packaging.

Applications include interior and exterior painting, walls, ceilings, and general decorating.

Users include painters, contractors, and property maintenance.
