Nidec/Emerson Condenser Fan Motor 1/4 HP 1075 RPM 2

The Nidec/Emerson 2250 is a 1/4 horsepower, 1075 RPM condenser fan motor supplied in a compact frame for outdoor fan applications in condensing units with restricted cabinet space.

Frame diameter and overall length are the dimensions that decide whether a replacement motor physically fits. Frame diameter must suit the mounting bracket or bolt pattern, while overall length determines whether the motor clears the coil, the top panel, and the fan grille once the blade is fitted at the correct depth.

Compact frame motors exist precisely because some equipment has no room for a standard frame, and substituting a longer motor in that situation forces the blade too high in the orifice or prevents the panel from closing. Neither is acceptable.

Measure the original motor's frame diameter, body length, and shaft length from the mounting face before ordering, and check the available clearance in the cabinet rather than relying on the fact that the previous motor fitted.

The motor requires a permanently connected run capacitor of the specified value.
