The JAZ JAZ48362P is a stringer bead twist knot wheel, 4-1/2 inch, with 36 knots, in stainless steel, with a 5/8"-11 arbor hole, rated to 15,000 max RPM, in clamshell packaging.

The stainless wire is the specification and it is not a durability upgrade — it is a contamination requirement. Brushing stainless steel with a carbon steel brush embeds carbon particles into the stainless surface. Those particles rust, and the rust breaks down the passive chromium oxide layer that gives stainless its corrosion resistance in the first place. The result is rust spotting on a stainless fabrication weeks after it left the shop, on material that was clean when it was welded.

The rule that follows is absolute: stainless work gets a dedicated stainless brush, and that brush never touches carbon steel. Cross-contaminating the brush defeats the whole exercise. Shops that do both keep them physically separated and marked.

The stringer bead geometry packs the knots into a narrow band the width of a weld bead, which is what puts energy into the root and toes of a joint rather than across the surrounding metal.

At 4-1/2 inches and 15,000 RPM this fits standard small grinders — verify the grinder's no-load speed against the rating.
