The JAZ JAZ41082B is a 4 inch stringer bead knot wire wheel with 32 knots, .020 inch steel wire, and a 5/8"-11 arbor hole, supplied in a bulk package of 6 per box.

A stringer bead wheel concentrates its knots into a narrow band roughly the width of a weld bead rather than spreading them across a wide face. That concentration is the design: it puts the wheel's full energy into the root and toes of a joint and the interpass surface, instead of riding across the parent metal where nothing needs cleaning.

For multi-pass welding this is not cosmetic. Interpass cleaning determines whether the next pass fuses properly or traps slag and produces an inclusion, and a cup brush cannot reach into a groove to do it.

At 4 inches the wheel is compact and controllable — the size for pipe joints, tight corners, and positions where a 6 or 7 inch wheel cannot be steered.

The 32 knot count gives the density to cut consistently at this diameter, and .020 inch is the general heavy-duty wire gauge.

The steel wire means carbon steel work only. Used on stainless, a carbon brush embeds particles that rust and destroy the corrosion resistance weeks later.
