Flange Wizard FLWSL-100 Standard Pocket Level has three-position leveling that

The Flange Wizard FLWSL-100 is the standard pocket level, featuring three-position leveling that can be viewed clearly from almost any angle.

The three-position design is the specification and it addresses a problem specific to reading a level in an awkward place. A conventional level has one vial, readable from one direction — which is fine on a bench and useless under a pipe rack, behind a beam, or at arm's length overhead. Three positions mean the level can be read from wherever the operator's head actually is, rather than requiring the operator to get their eye where the level wants it.

Anyone who has tried to read a vial by feel, by mirror, or by contorting around a pipe will recognise why this matters. A level that cannot be read is not being used.

The pocket format follows the same logic that governs this whole category: the level that gets used is the one being carried. A fitter working at height will not return to the gang box for a full-size level to check one fitting — they will estimate, and estimating is how work ends up out of plumb.

Flange Wizard has built measuring and marking tools for pipe welding in the USA since 1981.

Applications include pipe fitting, structural steel, welding and fabrication, and general field work.

Users include pipefitters, welders, fabricators, and steel erectors.
