The Flange Wizard FLW53025-M is a small magnetic centering head with a dial and vial, for 1 inch pipe and larger.

A centering head identifies and marks a centre-line at any angle around the circumference of a pipe or tank. That sounds modest until you consider the alternative: finding the true top of a round pipe by eye, then marking a line along it, then finding a point at a defined angle around the circumference. On a round surface with no reference edge, every one of those is guesswork.

The tool sits on the pipe, the magnet holds it, the vial levels it, and the dial reads the angle. From that, the operator marks the centre-line — the true top or bottom — or any angle around the circumference, repeatably and correctly.

Why it matters: pipe fittings, branches, saddles, supports, and nozzles all attach at defined angular positions. A branch that is 5 degrees off around the circumference is a branch pointing at the wrong place by the time the run reaches its destination, and the error compounds along the run.

The small size covers 1 inch pipe and larger, which is the widest range in the centering head family and makes it the general-purpose choice.
