Flange Wizard FLWPBG-601-1.275 Plasma Beveling Guide

The Flange Wizard FLWPBG-601-1.275 is a Plasma Beveling Cutting Guide supplied with the 1.275 bushing, in a compact case.

The 1.275 bushing is the largest in the standard Flange Wizard range, fitting plasma torch heads from 1.199 to 1.270 inch — generally the higher-amperage torches built for thicker plate, where the head is physically larger to carry the current and the cooling. If you are cutting heavy section, this is likely the suffix you need, but measure the head rather than assume it.

The guide itself cuts and bevels in a single operation, which is where it earns its place. A joint in thick plate requires a bevelled edge for the weld to reach the root; cutting square and then bevelling as a second pass doubles the handling. This guide's head locks for straight 90 degree cutting or for bevel cutting at set angles, and it cuts straight lines, irregular shapes, and circles.

Capacity is 3-1/4 inch to 39 inch diameter circles in the regular setup. Beveling inside gives a 7 inch to 37 inch range; beveling outside gives 7 inch to 40 inch. A 15-1/2 inch extension (3311-EX) is available for larger circles.

The third wheel works with the MSG230 magnetic torch guide for precision beveling on the edges of plate, beams, and channels.

Care: spray with WD40 or a light oil to protect from rust.
