Flange Wizard FLWPBG-601-1.007 Plasma Beveling Guide

The Flange Wizard FLWPBG-601-1.007 is a Plasma Beveling Cutting Guide supplied with the 1.007 bushing, in a compact case.

The beveling capability is what separates this from a plain cutting guide, and it addresses a real inefficiency. A welded joint in thick plate needs a bevelled edge so the weld can reach the root rather than sitting on the surface. Conventionally that means cutting the part square, then going back and grinding or torching the bevel as a second operation. This guide cuts the shape and bevels it in the same pass.

The head locks for straight 90 degree cutting or for bevel cutting at set angles. With the regular setup it cuts circles from 3-1/4 inch to 39 inch diameter; when beveling, it cuts 7 inch to 37 inch diameter circles on an inside bevel and 7 inch to 40 inch on an outside bevel. It also cuts straight lines and irregular shapes.

A 15-1/2 inch extension (p/n 3311-EX) is available for larger circles, and the guide's third wheel works in conjunction with the MSG230 magnetic torch guide for precision burning or beveling the edges of plate, beams, and channels.

The 1.007 bushing suffix fits plasma torch heads from 0.750 to 1.005 inch. Bushing size must be specified to match your torch.

Care: spray with WD40 or a light oil to protect from rust.
