Flange Wizard FLWMSG230-24 Torch Guide Extension 24 Inch

The Flange Wizard FLWMSG230-24 is a torch guide extension in a 24 inch size, for the MSG230 magnetic torch guide.

An extension is bought for one reason: reach. The MSG230 magnetic torch guide fixes a straight edge to the work with switchable magnetic blocks and gives the torch something to run against, which is what turns a wandering freehand cut into a straight one. But the guide is only as long as its rail, and a cut longer than the rail means repositioning the guide partway along — and a repositioned guide is a joint in the cut, a place where the line steps and the operator has to blend two setups together.

The 24 inch extension removes that step for cuts within its added range. Fewer setups mean fewer opportunities for the line to wander, and a genuinely continuous cut rather than a spliced one.

This is an accessory rather than a standalone tool. It requires the MSG230 magnetic torch guide to attach to, so confirm you have the base guide before ordering.

Applications include long straight cuts in plate, weld joint preparation, structural fabrication, shipyards, and plate shops.

Users include welders, burners, fabricators, and steel erectors.

Care note consistent with the range: keep magnetic guide components lightly oiled to prevent rust — they live on steel and collect moisture.
