The Flange Wizard FLWMHI515 is a magnetic Multi-Hole Imager, supplied in a carrying case.

The Multi-Hole Imager lays out round and elongated holes in plate and pipe, and the elongated part is what makes it genuinely clever. Cutting a round hole in a flat plate is straightforward — a circle is a circle. Cutting a hole in a pipe for a branch to pass through is not: the intersection of one cylinder with another is not a circle, it is an ellipse, and the shape changes with the branch angle and the diameter ratio. Fitters have traditionally handled this with paper templates, one for every combination.

The Imager replaces the templates. Its adjustable main arm carries notches for precise placement, and an integrated protractor sets the geometry for elliptical layouts, so one tool generates the shape rather than a drawer of paper.

The on/off magnet is what makes it usable on the work. It positions on round, flat, or irregular surfaces, holds while the fitter marks, and releases cleanly. A leveling vial in the main tower squares the tool to the work.

The carrying case matters for a precision instrument that lives on jobsites.
