Flange Wizard FLWCW-300 Circle Wiz

The Flange Wizard FLWCW-300 is the Circle Wiz, a circle cutting attachment for use with conventional torches, cutting small to medium holes from 5/8 inch to 8 inch diameter.

The Circle Wiz is the compact end of Flange Wizard's cutting guide range, and the 5/8 inch minimum is the specification that gives it a job the bigger guides cannot do. The Plasma Beveling Cutting Guide in the 8910-P case starts at 3-1/4 inch; the Chariot starts at 2 inch. Neither can cut a 5/8 inch hole. For small holes — bolt holes, drain holes, small penetrations, pipe entries — the Circle Wiz is the tool.

The mechanism is a pivot at the circle's centre and an arm carrying the torch, so the torch travels a true arc rather than whatever path the operator's hand describes. On a small circle that difference is stark: freehand, a 1 inch hole cut with a torch is essentially a rough opening, because there is no room to develop a steady travel.

It attaches to conventional torches, meaning oxy-fuel cutting torches generally rather than a specific brand.

The CW-300 is a component of the Flange Wizard Lil' Wiz 8915 tool case.

Applications include hole burning, plate work, pipe penetrations, structural fabrication, and general cutting.
