Flange Wizard FLW8910 Wizard Burning Guide

The Flange Wizard FLW8910 is the Wizard Burning Guides tool case, a kit of cutting guide tools for oxy-fuel torch work, supplied in a case measuring 15 inches long by 10 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches deep.

The case assembles the tools that turn a hand-held cutting torch into a guided one. It includes a Chariot Cutting Guide (#24219) covering straight and radius cuts along with hole burning from 5/8 inch to 25 inch diameter; a magnetic degree base with straight pin and square point pin holder (#77350-D) for larger holes and radiuses; two ON/OFF magnetic blocks (#MSB202) for clamping onto squares and straight edges; a magnetic tape holder (#89754); and a torch tip standoff (#70501).

The logic of the kit is that guided cutting needs several things at once and fails if any is missing. The Chariot carries the torch. The base provides the pivot for arcs the Chariot cannot reach. The magnetic blocks clamp a straight edge to the work to guide a straight cut. The standoff holds the tip at the right distance. The tape holder acts as a third hand for measuring.

This is the oxy-fuel version and fits all brands of cutting torches and cutting attachments. The plasma version, 8910-P, requires a torch-specific bushing.

Applications include plate cutting, weld preparation, structural fabrication, shipyards, and pipe work.
