Flange Wizard FLW77350 Plasma Guide Magnetic Base

The Flange Wizard FLW77350 is a plasma guide magnetic base, supplied with a straight pin and suction cups.

This is the centre pivot for cutting large circles and radii, and it is the component that makes the whole guided-cutting system work at scale. A cutting guide rides a torch around an arc, and that arc needs a fixed centre. The base provides it.

The pairing of a magnet with suction cups is what makes the base genuinely useful, and it is worth understanding why both are there. The magnet holds on steel — which covers most fabrication. The suction cups hold on everything else: stainless, aluminium, and non-ferrous plate, where a magnet has nothing to grip. Rather than selling two bases, Flange Wizard put both holding methods on one, so the tool works regardless of what is on the bench.

The straight pin is the pivot itself — the point the cutting guide's arm rotates around.

The base is specified for larger holes and radiuses, which is the work where a compact circle attachment runs out of reach.
