Flange Wizard FLW61-1.275 Plasma Bushing 1.199 to 1.270

The Flange Wizard FLW61-1.275 is a plasma bushing for torch head diameters from 1.199 to 1.270 inch.

This is the largest bushing in the range and it covers the bigger plasma torch heads — generally the higher-amperage machines built for thicker plate, where the torch body is physically larger to handle the current and the cooling.

The bushing adapts a plasma torch to a Flange Wizard cutting guide. That adapter is necessary because plasma torches have never been standardised: each manufacturer sizes its torch head to its own design, so a guide cannot grip a torch directly across brands. The guide accepts a bushing, and the bushing is sized to the torch.

Getting it right is not a fitment nicety. The entire function of a cutting guide is to hold the torch at a constant standoff and travel it along a controlled path. A torch sitting loose in an oversized bushing moves, and a torch that moves produces exactly the wandering, ragged cut the guide was bought to eliminate.

The tolerance band here spans 1.199 to 1.270 inch — about seven hundredths. Measure the head, do not estimate it.

Applications include guided plasma cutting on heavier plate — straight cuts, radius cuts, and hole burning — in structural steel fabrication, shipyards, and heavy fabrication.
