Flange Wizard FLW61-1.070 Plasma Bushing 1.030 to 1.068

The Flange Wizard FLW61-1.070 is a plasma bushing for torch head diameters from 1.030 to 1.068 inch.

This is the middle size in the bushing range and it is the one that appears most often as a suffix on Flange Wizard's plasma kit part numbers — an 8910-P-1.070 or an 8915-P-1.070 is that kit supplied with this bushing fitted. That prevalence reflects how many common plasma torches fall into this diameter band.

The bushing's job is to adapt a plasma torch to a Flange Wizard cutting guide. Plasma torch heads are not built to a common dimension — each manufacturer sizes its own — so the guide holds a bushing and the bushing holds the torch. Without the correct one, the torch either does not fit the guide or sits loose in it, and a torch that can move in its guide is a torch cutting freehand with extra steps.

Note the tight tolerance band: 1.030 to 1.068 inch is a range of under four hundredths of an inch. These bushings are not approximate, and a torch measuring 1.005 belongs in a different one.

Measure the torch head diameter before ordering rather than inferring it from the torch model.
