DiversiTech Valve Servi SERVICE-BAR-5-S-T

The DiversiTech SERVICE-BAR-5-S-T is a service valve assembly used to provide isolation points and service access on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Pressure rating is the specification to confirm first on any valve or fitting entering a refrigeration circuit. Operating pressures vary widely with refrigerant and application, and equipment designed around older refrigerants operates at pressures well below those of contemporary systems. R-410A in particular runs at substantially higher pressures than the R-22 systems it replaced, and components rated adequately for the older refrigerant may not be rated for the newer one.

The consequence of an underrated component is not usually immediate.
