Diamond Lead Reels DLRFBS-SET12BLK Welding Lead Reel Steel Black Powder Coated

The Diamond Lead Reels DLRFBS-SET12BLK is a heavy-duty pair of single welding lead reels with a 12 inch reel size, each holding 200 feet of 1/0 cable or 175 feet of 2/0. Black powder coated steel, zinc coated hardware, 1/2 inch terminal connection, supplied 1 each.

This is the maximum-capacity configuration sold as two independent reels rather than a combined assembly, and it suits the rig builder who is working around an existing layout. Two separate 12 inch reels can be positioned wherever the deck allows — opposite sides, different heights, one in a compartment — where a factory side-by-side unit dictates its own footprint and demands the bed width to accept it. On a fully equipped rig carrying a welder, compressor, racks, and storage, that freedom is frequently the deciding factor.

The 200 feet of 1/0 or 175 feet of 2/0 per reel is the longest reach in the range. Reach is what a field welder is buying: every foot of lead is a foot the truck does not have to be repositioned, and repositioning is the largest time cost on a right of way or a shutdown.

Each reel is electrically isolated, keeping welding current in the cable rather than allowing a path into the reel body and the truck beneath it.

Zinc coated hardware and powder coated steel suit permanent outdoor mounting through weather and road salt.

Applications include custom rig builds, pipeline welding, field construction, and mobile service operations.
