The Diamond Lead Reels DLRFBS-SET10BLK is a heavy-duty pair of single welding lead reels with a 10 inch reel size, each holding 150 feet of 1/0 cable or 125 feet of 2/0. Black powder coated steel with zinc coated hardware and a 1/2 inch terminal connection, supplied 1 each.

A pair of single reels is a different proposition from a fixed side-by-side or stacked unit, and the difference is placement freedom. A welding circuit needs two leads, so a rig needs two reels — but a combined assembly fixes their spacing and orientation permanently. Two independent reels can be mounted wherever the truck bed allows: on opposite sides, at different heights, one in a compartment and one on the deck. On a rig that is already crowded with a welder, a compressor, racks, and a toolbox, that flexibility often decides whether the reels fit at all.

The trade-off is fabrication work. Two separate reels mean two mounting positions to prepare, and the alignment that a factory side-by-side unit delivers has to be achieved on the truck.

Each reel is electrically isolated so welding current stays in the cable rather than finding a path into the reel body and the vehicle.
