Santa Fe Refrigerant Ultra V100 R454B 4047100

The Santa Fe 4047100 Ultra V100 is a whole house dehumidifier using R-454B refrigerant, supplied in a vertical configuration for installation where floor space is limited.

Configuration is a practical selection factor. Dehumidifiers of this class are installed in basements, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and attics, and the available space differs considerably between them. A vertical arrangement occupies a smaller footprint and suits mechanical rooms and utility spaces where floor area is at a premium, while horizontal units fit better in crawl spaces and low headroom locations.

Installation requirements that apply regardless of orientation are worth confirming early. The unit needs a reliable gravity condensate drain or a condensate pump, and drainage failures are among the more common causes of callbacks, since a dehumidifier produces water continuously by design.

Service access must be provided for filter changes and coil cleaning, and a unit installed where the filter cannot be reached will not have its filter changed.

Ducted installations need airflow and static pressure checked against the unit's rating, and controls must be set so the dehumidifier and the air conditioning system do not work against one another.

R-454B is an A2L refrigerant with specific handling and servicing requirements.

Confirm capacity, dimensions, electrical supply, duct connections, drainage arrangement, and control integration against the installation before ordering.
