Description
The OccuNomix OCC1070-CAMO is a Hot Rods 3-in-1 fleece winter liner, camouflage.
This is the camouflage version of the 3-in-1 liner, identical in construction to the navy — double-napped heavyweight stretch polyester plush fleece, wearable three ways, with an adjustable drawstring and two hook-and-loop tabs for hard hat compatibility.
Camouflage is worth a comment, because it points at a market rather than a hazard. Winter liners get bought by employers and worn by individuals, and the individual is the one deciding whether it goes on. Utility, forestry, pipeline, and rural crews frequently prefer camo, and a liner someone actually wants to wear is a liner that gets worn — which is the whole point of the garment.
That said, camouflage is the opposite of high-visibility. Anywhere a worker needs to be seen — roadside, traffic, plant yards — this is the wrong choice, and the hi-vis versions exist for it.
The 3-in-1 design covers neck only, neck and head, or neck, head and face. That adaptability is what keeps it on through a day where conditions change.
The drawstring addresses wind tunnelling through a hard hat's suspension gap, which is the specific problem a liner solves.
Important: polyester fleece melts. This is not the flame-resistant model — a separate FR version exists — and it should not go near hot work.
