The OccuNomix OCC1070-01 is a Hot Rods 3-in-1 fleece winter liner, navy.

The 3-in-1 designation is the product and it is a genuinely good idea. The liner can be worn covering the neck only, the neck and head, or the neck, head and face — three configurations from one garment, adjusted as conditions change through a day.

That flexibility matters more than it sounds, because cold-weather work is not one condition. A worker who is comfortable at eight in the morning is overheating by eleven, and a balaclava that cannot be opened up gets taken off entirely and left in a truck. A liner that adapts stays on.

Two hook-and-loop tab closures let it be worn with a hard hat, and an adjustable drawstring tightens it against wind tunnelling — which is the specific problem a hard hat liner solves. A hard hat's suspension holds the shell off the head, and that gap is an air channel. Wind goes straight through it, and the wearer's head is effectively uncovered no matter what the hat looks like.

The material is double-napped heavyweight stretch polyester plush fleece.

Important: polyester fleece melts. This is not the flame-resistant model — OccuNomix lists a separate FR version — and it should not be worn near hot work. Verify before selling into welding or utility applications.
