Lau Counterclockwise Blower Wheel 11X8 2694008

The Lau 2694008 is a counterclockwise rotation blower wheel measuring approximately 11 inches in diameter by 8 inches wide, supplied for direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in HVAC equipment.

Counterclockwise rotation is defined by viewing the wheel from the end opposite the motor, and it must match both the motor's rotation and the direction of the housing scroll. Rotation, diameter, width, bore, and hub position together form the complete fitment specification; matching four of the five produces a wheel that installs but does not perform.

The 11 by 8 inch size is common in mid-capacity residential air handlers and furnaces. Forward-curved blades deliver the airflow characteristic these systems were designed around, at low enough tip speed to keep the blower compartment quiet.

Verify all five fitment dimensions against the original wheel before ordering. Where the original is damaged beyond measurement, the equipment manufacturer's parts listing is the more reliable source than physical comparison.

During installation, ensure the wheel is fully seated at the correct depth on the shaft, that the set screw engages the shaft flat rather than the round, and that the assembly turns freely with even clearance to the housing before power is restored.
