Lau Blower Wheel 111/8D 1332601

The Lau 1332601 blower wheel in the 11-1/8 inch diameter by 8 inch wide configuration is supplied for direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in furnaces, air handlers, and fan coil units.

Forward-curved centrifugal wheels of this size are the standard air moving element in residential and light commercial indoor blowers. Air enters axially through the inlet ring, turns ninety degrees within the wheel, and is discharged radially into the housing scroll, which converts velocity into static pressure. The efficiency of that conversion depends on the wheel being correctly sized to the housing and correctly positioned relative to the inlet ring, which is why replacement wheels must match the original dimensionally rather than approximately.

Wheels are commonly replaced after bearing failure has allowed the wheel to contact the housing, after corrosion in humid or coastal installations, or after imbalance develops from uneven fouling.

Verify diameter, width, bore diameter, hub position, and rotation direction before ordering, and check the SKU against the physical wheel since Lau uses closely related part numbers across several dimensional variants.

Clean the housing and inlet ring during replacement, seat the set screw on the shaft flat, and confirm free rotation and adequate clearance before restoring power.
