The Lau 1331602 is a 10-5/8 inch diameter by 10-5/8 inch wide forward-curved blower wheel for direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in furnaces, air handlers, and fan coil units.

Lau is one of the long-established manufacturers of air moving components in North American HVAC, and its blower wheels are the OEM part in a large share of residential and light commercial blower housings. Because the wheel, housing, and inlet ring are engineered as a system, dimensional accuracy is what makes a replacement wheel work: diameter sets tip speed and therefore pressure, width sets airflow volume, and the relationship between wheel and inlet ring sets how efficiently air enters the wheel.

Forward-curved blades produce high airflow at moderate static pressure with comparatively low tip speed, which keeps noise down. The trade-off is that a forward-curved fan is sensitive to blade fouling; a layer of dirt on the blades effectively changes their profile and can reduce airflow markedly before any fault is suspected.

Confirm diameter, width, bore diameter, hub location, and rotation before ordering. Balance the assembly and check that set screws seat on the shaft flat, since a wheel that creeps on the shaft will contact the housing.
