The Lau 1332501 is an 11-1/8 inch diameter by approximately 7-1/8 inch wide blower wheel for direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in HVAC air handling equipment.

Wheels of this proportion, large in diameter and comparatively narrow, are specified where a system requires pressure capability more than volume. The wheel develops pressure in proportion to the square of tip speed, so the larger diameter allows the fan to overcome duct resistance while the narrower width keeps volumetric airflow and motor load within the range the direct-drive motor was selected for.

Forward-curved blades give quiet, efficient operation across the normal duty range. Their sensitivity to fouling means blade condition should be assessed during any blower service call; a wheel that is dirty enough to visibly change blade profile has already lost significant airflow.
