The Lau 1369325 is a 12-5/8 inch diameter by approximately 9-1/2 inch wide blower wheel for larger direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in light commercial and large residential air handling equipment.

At 12-5/8 inches this is a substantially larger wheel than the residential norm, used in equipment where higher airflow and greater static pressure capability are required. The larger diameter develops more pressure at a given rotational speed, which allows the blower to serve longer duct runs and higher-resistance systems without resorting to higher shaft speed and the noise that accompanies it.

Larger wheels carry more rotating mass, which makes balance and hub security correspondingly more important. A large wheel running with a loose hub imposes significant cyclic load on the motor bearings and will fail the motor rapidly.
