Lau Blower Wheel 9-15/16"D 8"W 1333701

The Lau 1333701 is a 9-15/16 inch diameter by 8 inch wide blower wheel for direct-drive centrifugal blower assemblies in HVAC air handling equipment.

The 9-15/16 inch diameter is a nominal 10 inch wheel expressed at its actual manufactured dimension, and the distinction matters when matching a replacement. Blower wheel dimensions across manufacturers frequently differ by a sixteenth or an eighth of an inch on nominally identical sizes, and a wheel that is slightly oversize for its housing will contact the scroll or inlet ring, while one slightly undersize loses airflow through the inlet gap.

The 8 inch width places this wheel in the mid range of residential blower airflow capability, suitable for typical two to three ton air handler and furnace blower assemblies.

Confirm diameter, width, bore diameter, hub position, and rotation direction against the wheel being replaced. Measure the original rather than relying on the equipment nameplate, since blower assemblies are frequently changed over the life of a system.

During installation, check clearance between the wheel and the housing at multiple points, verify the inlet ring overlap, and rotate the assembly by hand to confirm the wheel runs true before applying power.
