DiversiTech Ductless Pump QUIETMINI-M

The DiversiTech QUIETMINI-M is a condensate pump for ductless systems, mounted externally to the indoor unit.

External mounting is chosen where the indoor unit has no internal space, where the pump would be difficult to service internally, or where the installation allows the pump to be concealed elsewhere, commonly within the line set cover or in an adjacent void.

The practical advantage is access. A pump that can be reached without dismantling the indoor unit will actually be inspected during service, and replacing it when it fails is a short job rather than a substantial one.

Concealment then becomes the installer's problem to solve. Line set cover of adequate size will often accommodate a compact pump, and the run can be planned with that in mind from the outset rather than after the pump is fitted.

Wherever it is mounted, the pump needs to sit level, since float mechanisms depend on it, and it needs to be secured so that vibration does not gradually move it.

Sensor placement matters equally on systems using a remote sensor in the drain pan. The sensor must sit at the correct level in the pan, and a sensor that has been knocked out of position either fails to detect water or triggers continuously.

Confirm flow rate at the required lift, physical dimensions, voltage, and safety interlock provision. Verify the interlock shuts the equipment down before completing the installation.
