DiversiTech Clearvue Mini Pump CVMINI

The DiversiTech CVMINI Clearvue is a compact condensate pump designed for ductless and mini split installations where space is restricted.

Ductless indoor units create a drainage problem that ducted equipment usually does not. A wall mounted head is positioned for air distribution rather than drainage, frequently high on an interior wall with no gravity route to a drain, and the condensate has to be lifted or carried some distance.

The pump also has to be substantially invisible. A ductless installation is chosen partly on appearance, and a conventional condensate pump sitting below the indoor unit defeats that.

Compact pumps address both problems, being small enough to conceal within the unit, behind it, or inside the line set cover, and quiet enough not to be noticed in a room where the head itself is nearly silent.

Reliability carries more weight here than on ducted equipment. A pump concealed behind a wall mounted head is not inspected casually, and a failure allows condensate to overflow the indoor unit and run down the interior wall.

A safety interlock that shuts the equipment down on high water level is therefore important rather than optional on this type of installation, and it must be wired in rather than left unconnected.

Confirm the pump's flow rate, lift capability, physical dimensions, and voltage against the equipment and installation. Verify the safety interlock operates before completing the work.
