DiversiTech Condensate Pump Internal Mini-Split

The DiversiTech QUIETMINI-I is an internally mounted condensate pump for ductless mini split systems, designed to fit within the indoor unit.

Internal mounting is the preferred arrangement on ductless installations where it is possible, because it makes the pump invisible and protects it from damage.

The constraint is space. The pump must fit within the indoor unit's casing without obstructing airflow, interfering with the drain pan, or contacting electrical components, and the available space varies between manufacturers and models. Confirming the pump physically fits the specific indoor unit, rather than assuming it fits ductless equipment generally, is necessary before ordering.

Noise is the second consideration and the reason this class of pump exists. A ductless head is chosen partly because it is quiet, and a room where the indoor unit is barely audible will make any pump noise conspicuous. A pump mounted inside the casing is closer to the occupant than an externally mounted one, so its sound output matters more, not less.

Serviceability is the trade off accepted. An internally mounted pump requires the casing to be opened for inspection or replacement, which means it will not be checked casually.

That makes the high level safety interlock essential, since a failure will not be noticed until water appears.

Confirm physical compatibility with the indoor unit, flow rate at the required lift, voltage, and interlock wiring.
