The DeWalt DEWDCB612 is a FLEXVOLT MAX battery rated 20V/60V at 9.0 Ah, compatible with all 20V MAX, 60V MAX, and 120V MAX tools. It is supplied as a 2-pack in yellow and black, with no charger included.

The dual voltage rating is the engineering that makes FLEXVOLT worth understanding. The battery contains cells that physically reconfigure between series and parallel arrangement depending on the tool it is inserted into — presenting 20V to a 20V MAX tool and 60V to a 60V MAX tool, automatically, with no switch. Two 60V batteries in a 120V MAX tool give that platform its supply. One battery genuinely serves three tool lines.

The 9.0 Ah rating is the capacity figure, and it should be read against the voltage it delivers. Capacity in amp-hours is stated at the 20V configuration; the same stored energy delivered at 60V yields proportionally fewer amp-hours. This is why a FLEXVOLT battery that runs a drill all day gives a shorter run in a 60V saw — the energy is the same, the draw is not.

No charger is included, which is the correct package for a shop already standing on the platform and buying batteries rather than kits.
