CLC 100-Pack Nitrile Disp Glove L 2337L

The CLC 2337L is a 100 pack of large disposable nitrile gloves for chemical handling and general use.

Disposable nitrile gloves serve a different purpose from work gloves. They provide a barrier against chemicals and contamination rather than protection against mechanical hazards.

The applications in this trade are specific. Handling refrigeration oils, particularly POE which is a skin irritant. Applying coil cleaning chemicals, sealants, adhesives, and solvents. Working in condensate pans and drain systems, where the biological contamination is genuine. And any situation where keeping hands clean matters, such as work in an occupied home immediately before handling something the customer will see.

Chemical resistance is not universal. Nitrile resists many oils, greases, and some solvents well, and others poorly. Breakthrough time for a specific chemical is published in resistance charts, and a glove that resists a chemical for minutes is not suitable for prolonged contact with it.

Disposable gloves offer essentially no cut or puncture protection, and they are not a substitute for work gloves around sheet metal.

They should be treated as single use. A glove removed and reused carries whatever contaminated it back onto the hand.

Confirm the chemical resistance suits the products being handled, check the fit, and dispose of used gloves according to what contaminated them.
