Yellow Jacket 60 In Flex-Flow Hose 3 Pack Set

The Yellow Jacket 25985 is a three pack of 60 inch Flex-Flow hoses.

Flexibility is a hose characteristic that matters more in practice than the specification sheet suggests. A stiff hose resists being routed where it needs to go, holds the coil it was stored in, and transmits force to the fitting when it is bent into position.

That transmitted force is the mechanism behind most hose failures. The swaged joint where the fitting meets the hose is the stress concentration, and a stiff hose bent close to that joint works it every time the hose is moved.

A more flexible hose routes into position without fighting, sits where it is placed, and applies far less stress at the fittings. In cold weather the difference is pronounced, since hose materials stiffen considerably at low temperature and a hose that handles well at room temperature may be nearly unmanageable on a winter roof.

The 60 inch length is the standard field service size, and a flexible set at this length combines reach with handling.

Applications include refrigeration and air conditioning service, charging, evacuation, and recovery, particularly in cold conditions and constrained access.
