The Yellow Jacket 21048 is a 4 foot yellow PLUS II charging hose.

Four feet is a general purpose length, balancing reach against internal volume, and it is the length most commonly found in standard manifold sets.

The yellow hose's role in the manifold set is worth understanding because it differs from the other two. Where the blue and red hoses connect to the system and stay connected through a service procedure, the yellow hose is the one repeatedly moved: to the recovery machine, to the vacuum pump, to the refrigerant cylinder, and to a nitrogen regulator during pressure testing.
