The Shook 11024 is a 500 piece box of number 8 by 3/4 inch Jiffy Point self drilling screws for sheet metal work.

The 3/4 inch length is among the most widely used in duct fabrication and installation, being long enough for most sheet to sheet connections and for fastening into light angle or channel, without protruding excessively.

Stocking a small number of sizes in quantity, rather than many sizes in small amounts, is how most sheet metal operations handle screws. A vehicle carrying two or three lengths in the common gauge covers the large majority of work, and the occasional job needing something different is easier to accommodate than the alternative of managing a wide inventory.

Bulk boxes suit this, and the cost per screw falls sharply with quantity.
