Moldex MOX6900 Earplug Pura-Fit Disposable Corded One Size Tapered Bright Green

The Moldex MOX6900 is a Pura-Fit disposable earplug, one size, tapered, corded, bright green, soft foam, with a green cord, 33 dB noise reduction rating, PVC free, 100 pair per box.

This is the corded Pura-Fit — same plug and same 33 dB rating as the uncorded version in this range, with a cord joining the pair.

The cord is a hygiene decision more than a convenience one. In work that moves in and out of noise, plugs come out repeatedly, and an uncorded plug that comes out goes into a pocket. Pockets are filthy, and a plug that has been in one goes back into an ear carrying whatever was in there. Outer ear infections in industrial workforces trace directly to that habit. A cord keeps the pair hanging clean around the neck, which is also where they are when they are needed.

The counter-argument is real and it decides the choice: a dangling cord near rotating machinery is a snag hazard. Uncorded plugs exist for that environment.

So the decision is the equipment, not the preference — and a plant with both conditions stocks both.

The 33 dB rating is the top of the foam range, with the standard caveat that laboratory figures overstate real-world performance.

Bright green makes compliance visible across a floor.

Applications include manufacturing, construction, and intermittent noise work.
