Moldex MOX6701 Earplug Dispenser EcoStation Uncorded One Size Foam Tapered

The Moldex MOX6701 is an EcoStation earplug dispenser, one size, foam plugs, tapered, uncorded, orange, 33 dB noise reduction rating, wall mount, PVC free, 500 pair per dispenser.

The Eco designation points at something that matters more in this category than most: earplug dispensers generate a surprising amount of waste. A plant running through tens of thousands of pairs a year is also running through the packaging they arrive in, and a dispenser designed to be refilled rather than replaced removes most of that stream.

Which is the practical point too. A refillable dispenser means the wall unit stays and only the plugs get reordered — cheaper per pair, and one fewer thing to mount.

Note that a separate EcoStation refill is listed in this range. That is the item to reorder; this one includes the dispenser.

The dispenser itself is the intervention. Noise-induced hearing loss is cumulative, permanent, and painless — there is no feedback telling anyone to protect themselves. Protection depends on getting a plug taking no effort at all, which means a dispenser at the point of entry rather than a box in an office.

The 33 dB rating is the top of the foam range, with the usual caveat that laboratory ratings overstate real-world performance.

Applications include manufacturing, plant entrances, and construction.
