The Honeywell Howard Leight SPAQD30 is a QUIET no-roll multiple-use earplug, corded, in a polybag, NRR 26, orange, 100 per box.

Multiple-use is the specification here and it works because of the no-roll design.

A foam plug cannot really be reused. It is rolled down between the fingers to insert it, which means it collects whatever is on them, and it absorbs moisture and earwax that cannot be washed out of open-cell foam. A foam plug used twice is a dirty foam plug.

A no-roll plug is a moulded stem with a soft flanged tip, handled only by the stem. Nothing dirty touches the part that goes in the ear, and the moulded surface can be washed. That is what makes reuse legitimate rather than a false economy.

The corollary is cost. A reusable plug is far cheaper per shift than a disposable, and for a stable workforce in continuous noise that adds up substantially.

The NRR 26 reads low against the foam plugs in this range at 32 and 33. That comparison is misleading: those figures are laboratory numbers from perfect fitting, and a no-roll plug fitted the only way it can be fitted frequently outperforms a foam plug fitted the way people actually fit them.
