The Gardner Bender GBE46-418 is a heavy duty cable tie, 18 inch long, rated to 175 lb tensile strength, in natural Nylon 6/6, 0.35 inch wide, with a 4.9 inch maximum bundle diameter. Supplied 50 per pack with 10 packs per case.

The step to 175 lb tensile from the 120 lb ties in this range comes from the strap width, and the relationship is direct. At 0.35 inch this strap is 40 percent wider than the 0.25 inch ties alongside it, and that extra section is what carries the higher load. The width also spreads the clamping force across a wider footprint on the bundle — which matters when the tie is holding a heavy loom that must not be pinched or a cable whose jacket should not be cut into.

The 4.9 inch bundle capacity against 18 inches of length reflects the same arithmetic as the rest of the range: strap length and usable loop diameter are different specifications, and the tail has to be long enough to grip and pull through the head.

Nylon 6/6 is the standard cable tie polymer for its tensile strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance.

Natural is undyed nylon and belongs indoors — panels, cabinets, junction boxes, and interior conduit runs. Sunlight requires the UV black version.
