The ACT ADP24-175-UV-50 is a 24", 175 lb heavy duty cable tie in UV-stabilized black, packaged 50 per bag for outdoor and sun-exposed bundling. Strap width is 0.35" and maximum bundle diameter is 7".

The tie is molded from Nylon 66 and carbon-black pigmented. That pigment is the functional difference between this tie and its natural counterpart: it absorbs ultraviolet radiation before it can break down the nylon, which is what allows the tie to hold its strength through extended outdoor service rather than turning brittle and snapping in a season.

The 175 lb tensile rating and wider strap suit heavy bundles and larger diameters — cable runs on exterior racks, tower and antenna feed lines, solar array wiring, irrigation and agricultural lines, trailer and chassis harnesses, and temporary site power. The clamping-type head locks positively against the serrated strap and resists loosening under wind load and vibration.

At 24" long with 7" of bundle capacity, this tie handles jobs where a 14" tie simply will not reach: gathered conductor groups, hose bundles, ducting, tarps and covers, and equipment mounting.
