The ACT ADP36-175-UV-50 is a 36" heavy duty cable tie in UV black, rated to 175 lb tensile strength, with a 0.31" strap width and 11" maximum bundle diameter. It is supplied 50 per package.

At 36" this tie is in the extra-long class, and the 11" bundle capacity is what it is really bought for: large gathered runs that shorter ties cannot close around. Typical work includes bundling multi-conductor cable groups on trays and racks, dressing hose and hydraulic line assemblies, securing ducting and flexible conduit, strapping loads and covers, and mounting equipment where the tie must wrap a frame member as well as the bundle.

The tie is molded from nylon and finished in UV black. Carbon-black pigmentation is what gives a nylon tie usable outdoor life — it absorbs ultraviolet energy that would otherwise break down the polymer and leave the tie brittle. For any exposed installation, this is the finish to specify.

The 175 lb tensile rating holds heavy bundles without the strap deforming, and the ratcheting head locks positively against the serrated body so the tie does not creep loose under vibration or wind load.
