DoubleLock is the specification worth understanding. A conventional cable tie head uses a single pawl that engages the strap's serrations. That works, but it has a known failure mode: under vibration, temperature cycling, or sustained load, a single pawl can back off a tooth at a time, and the tie loosens. A double locking head engages the strap twice, which is what resists that creep.

For applications where a tie is expected to hold for years without being checked — inside a panel, behind a wall, on a machine that vibrates — the difference matters. For a tie being cut off next week, it does not.

Natural is undyed nylon and it is the indoor specification. Untreated nylon degrades under ultraviolet light, becoming brittle and eventually snapping, so anything exposed to sunlight requires the UV-stabilised black version instead.
