ESP Service Chemical Teflon O-Ring Assorted TR10-12 12PK

The ESP TR10-12 is a twelve pack of assorted Teflon O-rings for service equipment and fittings.

O-rings are the sealing element in a great deal of service equipment, and their condition determines whether the equipment gives trustworthy results.

Manifold gauge sets, hoses, couplers, adapters, valve core removal tools, and recovery equipment all depend on O-rings. Each one is a potential leak point, and a leaking service connection has consequences beyond losing refrigerant.

Under vacuum, a leaking O-ring admits air and moisture inward, and the evacuation never reaches an acceptable level. The technician then hunts a leak in the system that does not exist, or accepts an inadequate vacuum and leaves moisture in the equipment.

Under pressure, a leaking connection gives pressure readings that are wrong, and every charging decision made from them is wrong.

O-rings degrade with age, heat, chemical exposure, and repeated connection cycles. They harden, take a compression set, and eventually split.

PTFE and similar materials offer chemical resistance across a wide range of refrigerants and lubricants, which matters as service equipment encounters an increasing variety of both.

An assorted pack allows a suspect seal to be replaced on site rather than tolerated.

Confirm the sizes and material suit the equipment and refrigerants in use, and periodically pull a vacuum on the hose set alone to verify it holds.
